On November 19, 2024, in COP29's Blue Zone, the event "Water Resilience and Climate Change: Impacts on Agriculture, Infrastructure, and Business Continuity" convened stakeholders from international organizations, the private sector, and subject matter experts to explore practical approaches to water management in the face of climate change. Hosted by Azersun and moderated by our Executive Director Ilkin Hajiyev, the session emphasized the critical need for collaborative action to ensure water resilience, particularly in agriculture and infrastructure sectors.

 The discussion highlighted innovative techniques such as advanced regenerative technologies and strategies for enhancing water savings, crop yields, and nutrient density, offering transformative solutions for sustainable agricultural practices. Participants examined Azerbaijan's strategic role as a gateway for food and water security in the CIS region and its potential leadership in adopting cutting-edge water management approaches. With contributions from global experts like Hilton Lucio of Antea Group Brazil and Alicia Fantozzi of Regen & Vorterro Technology, the event underscored the urgency of addressing water-related challenges to secure a sustainable future.
