On November 14, 2024, a collaborative event titled "Sustainable and Just Transitions: Innovations for a Greener Tomorrow" brought together global thought leaders, academics, and policymakers. Co-organized by Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in partnership with ADA University and AHK Azerbaijan, the event addressed innovations in hydrogen, CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage), and critical raw materials to drive a shift away from fossil fuels.
