Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Partnership and Liaison office in Azerbaijan is implementing a project on the Improvement of Cattle Production in Azerbaijan through Establishment of Effective Cattle Breeding and Feeding Systems. This project addresses the critical need to enhance livestock production, which is a key priority for agricultural development in the country.The Sustainera team was engaged to conduct a data collection in order to identify the most accurate problems in the cattle production in Azerbaijan. Our expertise in conducting extensive research has enabled us to identify and address the precise challenges faced by the sector.
Improved and sustainable livestock production is a national priority for agricultural development with the focus on the enhancement of the necessary components of the process - animal breeding and feeding systems. One of the goals of the project is to also improve livestock husbandry and breeding management in the selected areas with the consideration of the needs of the animals, farmers and sustainable environmental factors. The proposed intervention will contribute to improving cattle productivity and farmers' income by strengthening the organizational structures and quality of Al and ET services. Our dedicated research team has meticulously identified the main components necessary to define clear objectives and chart a solution-driven path forward. By leveraging our research findings, we can ensure that our interventions are precise, effective, and tailored to the specific needs of the cattle production sector in Azerbaijan.
Bearing all that in mind, the project has been taken with responsibility and commitment to making the optimum use of the available resources in the most sustainable way. To achieve the best results, the data collection of our team has identified the main components of the process necessary to define the objectives and consult on taking a solution driven path.
