RESEARCH ON THE ENHANCEMENT OF WATER MANAGEMENT IN THE SOUTH CAUCASUS

Sustainera Solutions, in collaboration with the German Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AHK) conducted extensive research focused on water management infrastructure in the South Caucasus region. The primary objective of this research was to review the existing water management infrastructure and systems and provide investment recommendations to foster sustainable development in the region.  

 Recognizing the critical importance of water resources and the need for effective management, the AHK enlisted the expertise of Sustainera Solutions. Leveraging our extensive knowledge and experience in conducting in-depth studies, the research comprised a meticulous desk study, which involved analyzing existing data and reports related to water management in the South Caucasus.  

 Furthermore, insightful interviews with relevant authorities and stakeholders, including government agencies were analyzed. These interviews aimed to gather firsthand perspectives, identify challenges, and explore potential investment opportunities to enhance water management infrastructure.  

 The research conducted by Sustainera Solutions focused on various aspects, including water supply, wastewater treatment, irrigation systems, and ecological preservation. By assessing the current state of water management infrastructure, the study identified key areas for improvement and provided investment recommendations that align with sustainable development goals.
